A man used to work at a moneyed man shop. He used to do his work with utmost honesty and dedication. Moneyed man was very happy with his work and the man used to live comfortably with the salary received by moneyed man.

Days were passing like this. One day the man did not come to work without being told. moneyed man work stopped due to his absence.

Then moneyed man thought that this man has been working honestly for so many days. I haven't increased his salary since when. How would it have survived with so much money?

Moneyed man thought that if this man's salary was increased, he would work harder and more diligently. He increased the man's salary from the same month itself.

When the man got the increased money on a date, he was surprised. But he didn't say anything and quietly kept the money... Slowly the matter came to pass. After a few months, the man again remained absent for a few days.

Moneyed man got very angry seeing this. He started thinking - what an ungrateful man. I increased his salary, but he neither thanked nor understood the responsibility of his work.

What was the use of increasing his salary? It won't get better! And on the same day Moneyed man decided to take back the increased salary.

On the next 1st day that man was again given the same old salary. But the surprising thing is that even this time the man remained silent.

He did not complain at all to moneyed man. Moneyed man couldn't help seeing this and he asked - you are a very strange man, brother. When I first increased your salary after your absence, you didn't say anything. And today when I again reduced your salary for your absence, you still remained silent. What is the reason for this?

The man replied - When I was absent for the first time, a child was born in my house. At that time when you increased my salary, I thought that God has sent that child's share of nutrition. That's why I'm not too happy...

Moneyed man was shocked to hear this. He hugged the man and apologized for his behavior. After that he not only paid the man the same salary as before, but also started respecting him more.
