The Farmer Story

A farmer lived in a village. He was survived by his wife and a son. The wife died after a few years. At that time the boy was ten years old. The farmer got married again. The farmer also got a son from that second wife. The farmer's second wife also died after some time.

When the farmer's elder son, who was from his first wife, became eligible for marriage, the farmer got the elder son married. Then the farmer also died after some time. The farmer's younger son from his second wife and his elder son from his first wife lived together.

After some time, the farmer's younger son started feeling ill. The elder brother got treatment from some nearby doctors but did not get any relief. Younger brother's health was deteriorating day by day and a lot of expenses were also being incurred. One day the elder brother advised his wife that if the younger brother dies, we will not have to spend money for his treatment and will not have to give even half the share in the property. Then his wife said that why not talk to a doctor and poison him so that no one would even know. No one in any relation will doubt that he was ill and died due to illness. The elder brother did the same, talked to a doctor asking him to tell his fee, doing so would be like poisoning my younger sick brother in the name of medicine. The doctor agreed and gave poison to the boy and the boy died. Her brother and sister-in-law rejoiced that the thorn in the road was gone and now all the property became theirs. His last rites were performed.

After a few months, the wife of the farmer's elder son gave birth to a son. The husband and wife celebrated very happily and raised the boy with great love. In just a few years the boy became a young man. He even got his son married! After some time of marriage the boy suddenly started falling ill. His parents consulted many doctors for his treatment. He gave whatever money he asked for so that the boy could get well. He sold half his property for the treatment of his son, but the boy was on the verge of death due to illness. The body became so weak that only a skeleton was left.

One day the boy was lying on the cot and his father was sitting beside him and was looking at him sadly, seeing the pitiful condition of his son. Then the boy said to his father, Brother! All your accounts are done, now the account of shroud and wood is left, prepare for it. Hearing this, his father thought that the boy's brain was also not working due to illness and said, Son, I am your father, not your brother. Then the boy said, I am the same brother of yours whom you had poisoned to death. The property for which you made me die has now been half sold for my treatment, the rest is yours, our account is settled! Then his father cried bitterly and said that my family is completely destroyed. Whoever did it came ahead of me. But what is your wife's fault that this poor girl will be burnt alive? (At that time there was a tradition of Sati in which after the death of the husband, the wife was burnt along with the husband's funeral pyre) Then the boy asked where was the doctor who had fed him poison. Then his father said that he had died three years after your death. Then the boy said that this same evil doctor is today in the form of his wife. After my death it will be burnt alive.

Now pour water in all three bowls and put them on the gas to boil.   All the students were watching all this with surprise but no one was able to understand anything. Still no student was able to understand. At last  teacher  asked a child to touch all three (potato, egg and tea).
